Job Description

  • To Control Engineering spares by timely receiving, storing, picking, issuing of local, Cross border and front-end units, managing working capital to acceptable levels and prevent business risk of non-availability,

Required outputs: Functional

  • Storekeeping for engineering spare parts.

  • Accurate management of inventory and effective storekeeping

  • Warehouse stores orderly housekeeping standards

  • Conduct regular spare parts cycle counts

  • GR Received goods from suppliers and GI Picked engineering spare parts against pick list relating to customer orders (local and international)

  • Ensure SAP spare part inventory data reconciles with the physical spares on a daily basis

  • Update the inventory management systems and proactively escalate system update issues

  • Compile supplier quality performance

  • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards

  • Support continual business improvement and change management

Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric

  • At least 1-2 years experience in storekeeping and material handling knowledge gained either by studies or by experience in a stores environment.

  • Be able to read, write and speak English

  • Ability to carry out mathematical calculations

  • Code 10 Drivers Licence and will be an added advantage

  • Working Knowledge of SAPR3 will be an added advantage
