Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Draughtsman / Detailer who is proficient on Tekla to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed construction and manufacturing drawings for various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings for structural steel building components (primarily warehouses, chopping centres and the likes)
- Develop and maintain project drawings and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate material ordering and fabrication
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure accuracy
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in drafting /detailing on these types of buildings
- Proficient on Tekla
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Software
- Strong understanding of structure steel and detailing as a whole
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualifications in drafting or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with construction project management software
- Diploma or higher qualification in Draughting
