A vibrant tourism company in Franschhoek is seeking a dynamic, friendly, and service-oriented Site Supervisor to join our team. This multifaceted role blends responsibilities across guest relations, tour coordination, yard control, and service monitoring, making it ideal for candidates with a passion for hospitality and a strong operational mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations & Visitor Experience

  • Provide exceptional care and service to all visitors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

  • Engage confidently with individuals and large groups from diverse backgrounds.

  • Handle customer-related challenges with professionalism, empathy, and tact.

  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.

  • Work across all customer service areas, offering support and guidance where needed.

Service & Tour Coordination

  • Monitor and manage daily service operations, including scheduled tours and transport logistics.

  • Coordinate with wine estates and service providers to ensure smooth execution of experiences.

  • Build and maintain strong product knowledge to assist guests with accurate information.

  • Provide on-the-day management of services and report feedback to management.

  • Assist in planning and scheduling tours, ensuring alignment with operational capacity.

Operations & Yard Control

  • Oversee the movement and readiness of vehicles and equipment within the yard.

  • Monitor yard safety and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with operational standards.

  • Liaise with the control room, guests, and logistics personnel to ensure timely departures and returns.

  • Report any discrepancies or maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Franschhoek, Paarl, or Stellenbosch area, or be able to commute reliably.

  • Valid drivers license and own transport.

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

  • Matric certificate required.

  • Previous experience in the Tourism/Hospitality sector.

  • Experience in logistics, operations, guest relations, or tour coordination will be advantageous.

  • Excellent verbal communication and conflict management skills.

  • Passionate about customer service and the tourism industry.

  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours.
