Requirements



  • A relevant 3-year Tertiary qualification, preferably in SCM /

Logistics / Procurement



  • Computer literacy: MS Office

  • 5 - 8 Years Relevant Experience

Key Performance Areas



  • Coordinates the implementation of systems, procedures and

controls relating to the management of the tender/bid and



contracts management processes in the department



  • Controls and coordinates the processes and activities for the

implementation and review of contracts for the department



  • Interacts with relevant stakeholders in order to control and

coordinate the procurement process and ensure service



delivery



  • Interaction with stakeholders to ensure proper demand

planning for SCM requirements are performed



  • Applies a body of professional knowledge (MFMA, CIDB,

PPFA, BBBEE, SCM regulations, Bargaining Councils,



General and Special conditions of contract, etc.) coupled



with experience to develop and implement a full range of



programmes, systems (SAP RFQ portal, web base



programmes, SharePoint, etc.)



  • Applies policies and practices within the Department/Branch

to effect service delivery to clients and give effect to



initiatives, projects, systems and policies undertaken by the



Department/Branch



  • Gives advice on the legal and compliance requirements to

line departments and stakeholders with regard to the



implementation of SCM policies and procedures



  • Monitors and reports on expenditure with regard to tenders

by extracting monthly reports and analysing expenditure



against budget
