Key Responsibilities:
Configure application components to align with business needs
Engage with business units, IT teams, and external partners to resolve application-related queries and issues
Participate in projects by offering technical solutions and configuration support
Test and implement application solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and operate efficiently
Provide operational support, including root cause analysis, incident, problem, change, and service request management—ensuring SLA compliance
Liaise with vendors to ensure effective implementation and support of application solutions
Offer technical guidance to team members and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
4+ years of experience in application support and operations
Proven track record in business process analysis as well as functional setup and business requirements
Skills:
Business Analysis Skills: Ability to understand and translate business needs into functional application requirements is essential
HR system/ERP Expertise: Experience within a ERP system is critical to success in this role
Advanced Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting are required
High proficiency with application support tools and methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
