Are you a passionate and driven hospitality professional ready to lead one of South Africa’s most beloved
family-run restaurants?
We’re looking for an experienced Manager to take full leadership of our restaurant’s operations. This high impact role will oversee both the front and back of house, ensuring excellence in food quality, service standards, financial performance, and team engagement. As a family-owned business, we take pride in our values, our people, and the community we serve. You will report directly to our Family Governance Board.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, train, and motivate an incredible team.
Ensure exceptional customer experiences every day.
Manage day-to-day operations including shifts, staffing, supplies, and systems.
Control costs, handle budgets, and report to the board.
Uphold cleanliness, compliance, and health standards.
Innovate – from seasonal promotions to local marketing and growth campaigns.
Be present – engage with guests, solve problems, and make every shift shine.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
Good level of online systems and demonstrable technical know-how (Excel, Point of Sale & Stock
control systems).
Financial acumen and operational know-how.
People first leadership and a hands-on attitude.
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation:
Market-related salary, based on experience.
Generous profit incentive scheme, to be discussed during the interview process.
