We’re Hiring: Regional Relief Supervisor – Sales & Operations
Join our dynamic team and play a critical role in supporting branches across the region!
Are you a reliable all-rounder with solid sales experience, management capability, and hands-on operational skills? We are looking for a Regional Relief Supervisor to step in as needed across various branches, covering roles such as Colour Mixer, Counter Sales, and Branch Supervisor. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, can adapt quickly, and is passionate about providing excellent customer service and operational support.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales environment
Proven staff supervision and management experience
Ability to issue warnings, manage time off/leave schedules
Hands-on knowledge of Colour Mixing processes (advantageous)
Basic IT skills – ability to use POS systems, email, Excel, etc.
Willingness to travel regionally and relieve across branches as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Step in and perform duties for absent staff (sales, colour mixing, admin)
Provide counter sales service, ensuring excellent customer experience
Perform and support colour mixing when required
Handle branch operations, staff supervision and basic HR tasks (leave, warnings)
Train, motivate, and guide branch staff when relieving
Identify and resolve customer and operational issues promptly
Ensure branches follow standard operating procedures
Hard Skills (Technical):
Counter Sales Experience
Colour Mixing (Paint industry experience advantageous)
POS system usage
Basic Excel, Email, and computer literacy
Driving and route familiarity
HR knowledge: issuing warnings, managing leave, conflict resolution
Soft Skills (People & Personal Traits):
Strong Leadership and Delegation Skills
Excellent Communication (verbal & written)
Problem Solving and Decision-Making Ability
High Emotional Intelligence
Adaptable and Quick Learner
