Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Saturday: 8am - 1pm

1 afternoon/morning off per week.

Salary Range: Competitive - Based on Experience - Market related

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to join our team at our Eye Centre, which features both optometrists and ophthalmologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.

  • Provide thorough consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide fitting services for glasses and contact lenses.

  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists for patient referrals and management of complex cases.

  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Stay informed about advancements in optometry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified and registered Optometrist.

  • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using optometric equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside within a 20km radius of Eldoraigne.
