Position: Immigration Consultant
Salary: CTC: R15,000 - R20,000 per month - depending on skillset and previous experience
The position reports directly to the Immigration Manager / General Manager

Role overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Immigration Consultant to coordinate immigration casework and assist foreign nationals with their immigration programs to South Africa and across Africa. The Immigration Consultant is crucial in managing the complexities of immigration procedures and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.
As our Immigration Consultant, you will be required to:
Provide administrative assistance regarding immigration casework
Coordination and assistance with immigration programs to South Africa
Manage immigration casework for African countries
Ensures that all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, is completed accurately and promptly
Assist with document control and submission of documents/applications to the relevant authorities (VFS Centre/DHA)
Gathering of documents and filing all information pertaining to immigration activities
Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance and processes, request application updates, and/or escalate applications when immigration authorities fail to meet processing standards/withdraw applications
Strong communication with immigration authorities is essential
Ad hoc duties as assigned by management
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of South African immigration experience
A recognised qualification in business administration, legal administration, international immigration administration, and/or at least have 2+ years’ professional experience in a Corporate Environment
Higher education in business or the service industry will also be considered
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Acute attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage varied workloads
Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to work independently and take ownership of relevant tasks
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to multitask and complete tasks efficiently
High energy, positive attitude, and demeanour, pro-active and resourceful
Oral and written proficiency in English (French will be considered as an added advantage)
Excellent communication, drafting, and research skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Full computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
A passion for immigration
Requirements:
Own transport and driver's license
