The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Healthcare Recruiter to join our expanding team. This pivotal remote role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on healthcare accessibility from anywhere, proactively identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier medical talent, specifically targeting MDs, DOs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Physician Assistants (PAs) for our innovative telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities
Proactive Talent Sourcing & Engagement
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse range of medical professionals (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs), from initial outreach to successful placement.
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using a variety of channels, including professional networks, online databases, social media, and direct outreach/headhunting.
Actively identify and engage passive candidates, building strong pipelines of qualified medical talent aligned with Welltel’s mission and values.
Candidate Relationship Management
Conduct in-depth interviews and screenings to assess clinical expertise, telehealth suitability (e.g., "webside manner," tech comfort), cultural fit, and professional demeanor.
Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for Welltel, effectively communicating our unique value proposition and the benefits of practicing telehealth with our organization.
Provide an exceptional candidate experience, guiding professionals seamlessly through the recruitment and onboarding process.
Strategic Collaboration & Process Excellence
Collaborate closely with Welltel's leadership and clinical teams to understand evolving staffing needs, ensuring alignment between recruitment efforts and business objectives.
Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and generate insightful reports.
Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, licensing requirements, and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies.
Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to ethical guidelines, compliance regulations, and Welltel's high standards of professionalism.

A Proven Recruiter: Demonstrate a strong, verifiable track record of successfully recruiting licensed healthcare professionals, ideally within a telehealth or virtual care setting.
Proactive & Results-Driven: Self-motivated, highly organized, and relentless in pursuing top talent to meet ambitious recruitment targets.
Professional & Adaptable: Maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct, with the agility to navigate a fast-paced, evolving healthcare landscape.
Passionate about Telehealth: Excited by the opportunity to revolutionize healthcare access through technology and connect amazing providers with patients who need them.
Equipped for Remote Work: Possess the ability to maintain a professional and quiet home office environment conducive to virtual meetings and focused work.
Collaborative Across Time Zones: Available to work during 9 AM - 5 PM EST for collaborative meetings with the New York-based team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred, not required).
Minimum of one year of dedicated healthcare recruitment experience.
Demonstrated experience with full-lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Doximity, specialty job boards).
Strong understanding of U.S. medical licensure and credentialing processes (training provided on specific New York requirements).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
Welltel offers a straightforward and competitive compensation package for this independent contractor role, designed to reward your contributions to our growth.
Hourly Rate: $10 USD per hour
