We're Hiring: Despatch Manager (Experienced, Hands-On Leader Wanted)

Are you a strong, practical leader with experience in managing despatch operations and leading a team with confidence and respect? We’re looking for a Despatch Manager who can take full ownership of the department, drive results, and create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all despatch operations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries

• Lead, motivate, and guide the despatch team with fairness and authority

• Handle daily planning, loading, route allocation, and vehicle coordination

• Resolve crises and challenges calmly and effectively

• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and tracking of goods

• Work closely with internal teams to avoid delays, duplicates, and missed deliveries

• Maintain a high level of organisation, safety, and cleanliness in the despatch area

• Monitor performance, manage time and resources, and provide regular feedback

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a despatch, logistics, or warehouse environment

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• Proven record of building strong teams and improving despatch flow

• Practical problem-solving and crisis-handling ability

• Driver’s license and own reliable transport an advantage
