The internship is an opportunity to gain work experience in our Ambius division. This is an opportunity for any students that are registered with a university for a Horticulture Qualification.

Successful candidates will be employed on a 6 month fixed term contract

Requirements:

KEY WORK OUTPUTS and ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Preparing plant replacements

  • Assist completion plant replacement documentation

  • Adhoc Admin Duties

  • Assist with penjing preparations

  • Plant maintenance services at client premises

  • Assist installation team in completing installations

  • Assist in daily warehouse operations ( pruning, watering, fertilising plants etc)

  • Helping with stock count from time to time


SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

  • Must be customer focused/orientated

  • Ability to identify customer needs and solutions

  • Should display professional attitude

  • Must be presentable

  • Highly developed communication skills (Written/Verbal/Non-verbal)

  • Requires good time management skills to efficiently and effectively perform daily duties

  • Good physical health


QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

Matric

A registered 3rd or 4th year Horticulture Student

Drivers Licence (Code 8/10)

Above average communication skills (written/verbal/non-verbal)

Numerical acumen

Computer literate

Business acumen
